Acceptance of terms
By creating a Sidequest account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and Minimum Age
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Sidequest account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You can export a full copy of your data at any time and can request that your account be deleted — see our Privacy Policy for exactly how export and deletion work today.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Sidequest to submit, generate, or store content that is unlawful, infringes another person’s intellectual property or privacy rights, or that you do not have the right to share. Sidequest may remove content or suspend an account that violates this section. If you believe content on Sidequest infringes your rights, contact [content-removal / DMCA contact to be added].
AI-generated content; no professional advice
Every product idea, quest, coaching review, and generated asset on Sidequest is produced by an AI model and is not reviewed by a person before you see it — this is labeled in the product with an “AI-generated” indicator. This content is provided to help you think and plan; it is not financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice, and Sidequest does not verify its accuracy before showing it to you. You are responsible for independently verifying anything you rely on before acting on it, including confirming that any AI-suggested business name, tagline, or asset does not conflict with someone else’s trademark or copyright before you use it commercially.
No earnings guarantee
Sidequest shows a “fit” score and an illustrative earnings calculation next to each generated product idea. As shown directly next to those figures in the product: “Hypothetical estimate based on your inputs, not a guarantee of actual results. Your results will vary.” Sidequest makes no representation that following a quest plan or using a generated asset will produce any particular level of income, and is not responsible for the outcome of any business decision you make based on Sidequest’s output.
IP Ownership
As between you and Sidequest, you own the product ideas, quests, outreach messages, landing-page copy, and other content Sidequest generates for your account, and you may use it commercially. Sidequest does not screen generated content for conflicts with existing trademarks, copyrights, or other third-party rights before showing it to you — you are responsible for clearing any business name, tagline, or other generated content for conflicts before you use it commercially. You retain ownership of the assessment answers, proof text, and other content you submit to Sidequest, and grant Sidequest the license needed to process it (including sending it to our AI provider) in order to operate the product for you.
Billing and subscriptions
Sidequest currently offers two paid plans, billed through Stripe: the Launch Pass, a one-time payment, and Builder, a monthly subscription that renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your Builder subscription from the “Manage billing” link on the Upgrade page. The Launch Pass is non-refundable. Cancelling Builder stops future renewals; it does not refund charges already processed for the current billing period.
Warranty disclaimer
Sidequest is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sidequest’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Sidequest is limited to the amount of fees you paid to Sidequest in the 12 months before the claim arose. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law, including for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using Sidequest and request account deletion at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how deletion works today. Sidequest may suspend or terminate your account for a violation of the Acceptable Use section above.
Governing law
The governing law and venue for disputes under these terms are [governing law/jurisdiction to be confirmed by counsel].
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Sidequest changes. Material changes will update the “Last updated” date above.
